::Koigu and Weather Announcement::
Well, the snow is actually sticking to the ground, folks (I'm the local weather grouch around here - I never believe the snow will stick until I see it, and that's not often...).
So....I'm heading to the shop now. We will NOT be staying open all day, as I'd rather drive home before it freezes again, so we'll be closing around 2 or 3. Drive slowly and take it easy, OK!?
Also, we got another Koigu shipment yesterday - about another 15 colors, mostly multis, some solids. This shipment has lots of blues, greens and pink shades... I've already taken some home! And we got a great lime green that goes with one of the scarves we've got on display (the one from VK Scarves on the Go, which, of course, is on backorder, due in the shop soon...).

::Artyarns and More!::
We got in some lovely new yarns from Artyarns! If you haven't seen the book, Modular Knits, come in and check it out. There's a group on Yahoo Groups called Multidirectional Knitting if you need help on just about every aspect of every project in the book! Pam will be teaching a class in April or May on the Sheer One-Piece Shawl, which uses Regal Silk or Ultramerino 6, now in stock. They are too beautiful to be believed! We also have several scarf models to show off Iris Schreier's techniques.
And selling right out of the box they came in, Berroco's UltraSilk is flying out the door! We have a gorgeous short-sleeved v-neck tee made up in it to show off this silky soft yarn. Also new from Berroco is Touche, a cotton/poly blend. It's all about soft blends this season. We have a great new tank number out of their Yoga ribbon too - it would also make great fringe or a shawl or scarf! Just a touch of glitz!
Blue Sky Alpacas will be sending 5 new colors of the Dyed Organic Cotton soon, along with some great new patterns - wait until you see the Baby Dress out of Alpaca Silk. To die for! And the One Fish Two Fish toy!
We've got some new shrug models in the shop - Stephanie's Elfin Princess Shrug is now available for purchase and we have the yarn in stock (Needful Baby Soft). Pam just whipped up Fiber Trends' Short Shrug pattern in Filatura's Love and also a classy shoulder wrap from Handknit Style (Tricoter) in Filatura's Country Cashmere and Reynolds' Rapture. Perfect for our crazy mid-TN weather!
We're doing some rearranging in the shop to freshen up for spring - come check out our new look! And the newsletter is heading to the post office today or tomorrow, so be on the lookout for our amazing spring class list!
