Carol Anderson of Cottage Creations (creator of the Wonderful Wallaby and Log Cabin and Rambling Rows Afghans), in Iowa, let us know how we can all help the flood victims in her region. The residents affected will be in great need of warm items such as hats, mittens and scarves as they head into winter. If you want to contribute it would be much appreciated! Items will be distributed through either the Red Cross or another reputable agency.

Please attach a card to items with the following information:
1) Name of item
2) Size, if applicable
3) Fiber content (most items should be machine washable and dryable)
4) If desired: your name and address and any word of encouragement.

We just got in a few backordered colors and they are selling very fast! You'll be seeing new yarn too - all the rich colors of the rainbow are represented by Frabjous Fibers. The yarn is spun like the Himalaya Silk, but the colors are fabulous semi-solids. I'm working on a quick shawl in 3 colors done on size 17 needles! Great for early fall!
