Charmed - (Shannon Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano) The girls often cuddle on the couch with a crocheted afghan. Piper has knitted a baby blanket and other baby things, including a cute little bear, for a friend of the Sisters.
Clifford's Puppy Days (Starring: Clifford, the little red puppy dog -instead of Clifford the huge
gigantic impossible dog) Caught the middle of it where the doxie's little owner knit him
a sweater, and he is all sad that he ripped it when she worked so hard etc
on it... and that he has to wear it for a picture later that night. The dog
tries to hide, but eventually unravels half of it. The little girl was
apparently taught by her granny, and knit the sweater to match the one gran
knit for her. In the end it gets fixed.. just something to look out for.
Columbo (TV Movie) (Peter Falk) recent movie - Killer TV producer finds her star's knitting/crochet bag holds prescription drugs that keeping her high.
Corner Gas (Brent Butt) Emma (main charecter's mother) knits in every episode, they even call her an addict in one.
CSI - New York - At a dog show one of the handlers is impaled on knitting needles that another handler uses to knit outfits for the dog she shows.

Dead Like Me (showtime series) - A lady stabbed someone with her ndls on a bus after being fondled on the bottom!
Dead Like Me Episode: Unfinished Business 8/29/03. Ms. Herbig ("Millie's" boss at Happy Time) knits and only knows how to make baby booties and hats (though she has no kids). She makes "Millie" a knitted pencil sharpner cozy (baby hat!).

- TV show, HBO (Timothy Olyphant, Ian McShane) The "Widow Garret" and her foster daughter are knitting in one scene when Ellsworth comes to fetch her.
Desperate Housewives (ABC Series) Episode: MIL of Eva Longoria's character knits madly as she suspects her DIL of dabbling in an affair while they are chatting. Eva's character looks frightened by MIL's frenzied knitting needles going back and forth.
The Dick Van Dyke Show (Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam,
Richard Deacon) Episode: In "It Wouldn't Hurt Them to Give Us a Raise" Episode #105. Sally is seen knitting in the office. A few scenes later Rob (DIck Van Dyke)
is so frustrated he tries to pick up the knitting needles and tries to knit.

Grey's Anatomy (main character, Meredith Grey) Going through major crisis in life, not dating anymore, always knitting on show in free time.

19) Maggie and Hamilton are speed-knitting enormous scarf-like
items for fun. The Ferocious Beast is sad that he cannot knit and goes off
in a pout. The knitting saves the day in the end!
Mama's Family (Vicki Lawrence) "Mama" crochets in some of the episodes and Best Friend/
Neighbor Viola is always wearing something crocheted. Even had a crocheted
granny square purse in one episode.
Miss Marples Miss Marples reveals the killer in many tv made movies while
knitting.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (t.v show) Daisy knits a very long scarf in one episode.
Monk (Tony Shalhoub) One of last years episodes of Monk had him holding a skein of yarn while it was being wound into a huge ball. In this episode Monk had amnesia and the
character played by Laurie Metcalf had conned him into believing he was her husband.
Monty Python Episode Thirty-one: The All-England Summarize Proust
Competition - In one scene when one character dials up the police, we see
one policeman is knitting, another is making a palm tree out of old
newspapers. Of course they can't be bothered to answer the call.
Murder She Wrote (Angela Langsbury) Once in a while, there will be a scene of JB knitting as a form of relaxation.
